private transportation was a long wait at the airport, but the wonderful week at the resort made up for that!

I just wanted to provide you with an update on our Honeymoon trip to Jamaica. The resort was incredible and we had an amazing time. It rained for a few minutes the second day we were there, other than that the weather was perfect. We didn’t really do anything other than take hobbie sail boat trip and couple’s massage. The food was good, but do not recommend the house Champagne or Wine (it was a little bitter). The room/view was unbelievable and the staff was very courteous/helpful. There was a conference staying at the hotel the same week, so there were a lot of people, but it wasn’t noticeable because of all the available space and ocean side seating. It was nice that the other Secrets hotel was so close, because we would walk to their pool/ocean if we wanted to use their accommodations. I would recommend to anyone planning on visiting in the future that we learned if you don’t get up early to find a seat by either the pool or ocean, then later all of the good seats will be taken. We learned that if you go down and get a couple towels, throw them on the seat you want, you can have the seat for the entire day. We saw a bunch of people do this and decided to try it the third day we were there. The only complaint was the flight path back home. I had to basically sprint through the Atlanta airport to catch the connecting flight to Minnesota. There was really no time accounted for going through customs and getting to the gate. But that is no one’s fault other than the airlines flight changes. I wanted to personally thank you for helping me plan this trip, keeping our flight seats together, and everything else you have done. As always, another great trip that you have helped me with. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and would definitely love to go back for a vacation. Thank you again, Steve

Thanks for helping my husband picking the 10 day cruise with the Royal Caribbean. We had a great trip. The ship was great and of course the food. We sunbathed in Labsdee, horse-drawn buggy ride through the old town of Cartagena, Columbia and even held a sloth. We went to Colon, Panama and took a ferry ride through the locks - interesting. We went white-water rafting in Costa Rica. Last stop was Grand Cayman where we went snorkling and swam with the stingrays. We kept busy but enjoyed it very much. Thanks again Regina and Dick.

The Riu Palace in Punta Cana was the most beautiful place I`ve ever seen. You are a welcome visitor in their country from the minute you step off the plane to the sunshine and warm weather. It was so exciting reaching our resort for the first time to see what a wonderful choice, based on recommendation from Dr. Trips, we had made for our stay. The staff couldn`t be more accommodating and friendly, the food is excellent, and the beaches are breathtaking with cool powdered sugar sand and constant breezes. You also have dining and entertainment privileges at the other surrounding Riu resorts (connected by a beautiful seaside walkway) which is just an added perk! All aspects of this trip said "Vacation!". Highly recommend!

2/25/2011 Jill, I just wanted to let you know that Joanna returned Wednesday from our 5 night Cancun vacation (Golden Parnassus). It was a GREAT time! We will go back……and head to the Golden again! Dr. Trips is amazing! What wonderful women work there! Our trip to Cancun in September 2010 was just amazing. We even got engaged down there (thank you for giving Phil a trick to hide the ring in our carry-on! :) ) and plan on going back to the RIU Cancun to get married in 2012 thanks to Jill`s hotel suggestion! We have told everyone we know about Dr. Trips and whenever we go on vacations we will book through them. We love you guys!!!

Just a quick note to say thanks for helping us plan a great trip to Punta Cana. We went with another couple (Brian and Gina Jones) and had a fabulous time! The Grand Palladium Resort (complex) is beautiful. Your advice was well taken. We were upgraded to the Royal Suites and enjoyed every minute of it! The Apple Rep at the Bavaro (Ceasar) was very helpful and friendly.

We just got back from Secrets Capri, what a beautiful place !! Thanks Jill, for letting us kow about it. The resort is smaller, but well kept, the 5 restaurants were very good, some gourmet, employees were excellente !!!
